The world's largest collection of cemetery records. This free database, hosted by Ancestry.com is a great place to start your search, but be warned. Records for any given cemetery ARE NOT complete. Individuals post memorials for burials in a given cemetery and those buried without a gravestone or with a gravestone that has become illegible over time may not be included. Users are also warned to verify everything that they find in regard to information contained within the memorials and the linking of one memorial to that of another person.

Iron County, Missouri Death Index
Iron County, Missouri Death Index 1857 - 2006, Volume I. This index, created by Marcine Lohman is the most complete listing of death records ever compiled for Iron County. That said, the list is incomplete, so there are other death records out there. Marcine is currently working on Volume II of this index.
